According to the latest data from Leopard Solutions, Florida law firms have 680 open jobs, and New York has 893.
It’s no surprise that the overwhelming majority of the open jobs in New York are in 𝗡𝗬𝗖, with 72%.
But you might be surprised which cities have the 2nd and 3rd most open jobs. It’s 𝗕𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗼 with 5%, followed by 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗮𝗻𝘆 and 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 at 4% each.
Florida is almost as easy to guess where the most open jobs are; it’s 𝗠𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗶 with 25%.
But the gap between Miami and other Florida cities is nowhere as large as in New York. After Miami, you have 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮 with 19% of the open legal jobs, followed by 𝗢𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼 with 13% and 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗲 with 11%.
Keep in mind that these are only the 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 job openings. There is a hidden job market of open positions which are 𝘯𝘰𝘵 posted. And then there is the job market for 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆𝘀.
